Schluter's Second Heli, the DS-22 (1973) Image found on eBay
Dieter Schluter of Germany is credited with producing the first fully-controllable radio controlled helicopter. Most of the hobby's pioneers around the world learned on the simplified Hiller control fixed pitch Huey Cobra. His second heli, the DS-22 (which looks a lot like a full-size Enstrom) was mechanically very similar to the Huey Cobra except for few improvements and a different fuselage.
